This Girl Can is a campaign launched by Sport England, with an aim to get more women taking part in physical activity.
To target inactive women, the campaign will contribute to increasing physical activity opportunities by appealing towards women of all shapes, sizes and levels of ability.
The Active Lives Survey undertaken by Sport England from November 2017 to November 2018 demonstrates a gap between male and female participation with 27% of females more likely to still be inactive (doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity per week).
The project has been very successful with many more women taking part in physical activity.
